I just need to get the hang of doing faux bangs. I have no idea what I am doing though! It is a sad scene! I also think bangs may not look as good as my longer front because when I do a pomdadour, the platinum blond streak is more evident. My stylist put on the foils in a way that the blond is essentially "under" the bangs so rolling them back or to the side works better.

TaraTarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18374686921796483382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7252080759994565579.post-12698464431591484702010-07-30T14:03:14.524-07:002010-07-30T14:03:14.524-07:00Honey Bee,

Right now, my bangs are about 5 inches long and I tried to roll them with the rat but it doesn't want to work! I have no clue what I am doing! Any suggestions?

TaraTarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18374686921796483382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7252080759994565579.post-71051533383356997512010-07-30T11:47:29.318-07:002010-07-30T11:47:29.318-07:00I go Betty Bangs every year for a few months, but ...I go Betty Bangs every year for a few months, but I am determined to grow mine out for now. One trick to being bang-less is to part your hair on the side. I think a side part takes away the pressure to have it even on both sides and it is ok if one side is curlier. Stick with it and try to go bang-less.Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02989878350742085698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7252080759994565579.post-56391858334638765412010-07-29T17:38:14.969-07:002010-07-29T17:38:14.969-07:00How about geting a hair 'rat' and rolling ...How about geting a hair 'rat' and rolling those bangs?? That way it would be quick and you can "have your cake and eat it too"!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7252080759994565579.post-47805855618803534532010-07-28T14:37:02.389-07:002010-07-28T14:37:02.389-07:00Brittany,

Maybe I can start a new trend: Tank Girl meets vintage girl! lol

Anyway, I need to think about more and I think I need to experiment. It's a difficult call and I do not want to be hasty and then have to wait a couple months for whole thing to grow out!

TaraTarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18374686921796483382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7252080759994565579.post-19431327279580245152010-07-28T14:34:20.242-07:002010-07-28T14:34:20.242-07:00Thank you for your compliments and thoughts, Holly...Thank you for your compliments and thoughts, Holly and Rachelle! It IS a toughie. I know if I go the bang route, I will love it but I will limit my style choices. Also, maybe limiting would be a good thing since the rest of the hair (curling) can be time-consuming and the bangs seem to be surly lately. Maybe I am throwing in the towel too soon and I just need to experiment. I need to think about this.Tarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18374686921796483382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7252080759994565579.post-55218775446577408222010-07-28T14:31:35.934-07:002010-07-28T14:31:35.934-07:00Tough call! I've never had them but I've heard that they're a pain to take carof, they limit your styles and they're crazy when they grow out. If you liked them when you had them and didn't feel like you had any major issues with them, I'd say go for it again! My best advice is to sleep on it. I have bad hair days when all I want to do is shave my head! *lol* but later, I decide I like having hair.Brittany_Va-VoomVintagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04377031677999463069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7252080759994565579.post-34799768974015638842010-07-28T14:12:53.611-07:002010-07-28T14:12:53.611-07:00Yeah thats a tough call. Right now I have bangs but I'm already a bit sick of them. I think either way you go will look great though!TemperamentalBroad@blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05305259918940809169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7252080759994565579.post-42755820447524098332010-07-28T13:11:34.774-07:002010-07-28T13:11:34.774-07:00I think it looks great both ways but if I had to c...I think it looks great both ways but if I had to choose, I'd say no bangs. I love your blond in the front. Very classy.Rachellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08332156762616870374noreply@blogger.com
