My Etsy Deal of the Day!-50s Deadstock Dress for Only 43.40 USD!

Hey vintage gals, check this beauty I found on Etsy today! It is an unworn, 1950s, early 60s cotton plaid dress! I love the collar! It was on sale for $43.40 USD! I was trying to be good but yet again, I saw "sale" and "deadstock" and went all ga-ga! I am SO WEAK!

I think the husband needs to block Etsy, Dandelion Vintage, eBay, MAC Cosmetics, and Sephora!

Anyway, the dress was deadstock and on sale! What can I say? :)

Have you gals found any gems lately yourselves?

  1. I'm still pleased with myself over the 50s Lurex cocktail dress, original belt included, that fits me perfectly for $23.49! I also scored a great red, gray, black and white Kamehameha dropped waist, shelf bust hawaiian dress for $53. Both on Ebay, bless it! The Vintage Gods have been good to us!

  2. I found a bunch of old records for a dollar each at a thrift store today! They're mostly of old(ish) show tunes

  3. Dang. That dress has been in my favourite for ages. At least it's gone to someone I *know* will appreciate it. ;] I only held off as I very rarely like to wear wiggle dresses anymore. It'll look fab on you. =D

  5. Kim,

The vintage gods have been good to us indeed! That lurex of dress of yours is heavenly! I still cannot believe you got it for so cheap too! Also, a real Kamehameha dress for 53 bucks?! AMAZING! Sounds I need to start going back to eBay! Holly over at Temperamental Broad also found some great deals on eBay recently too!

  6. Betty2Tone,

A dollar each for real LPs! That is great! I love old records! My dad has a nice collection, including Tommy Dorsey and Woody Herman! I prefer the sound of records over a CD or Mpeg any day. The music has more soul and depth. The CDs just make the sound flat and "too perfect."

  7. Andi,

I am sorry! lol! I did not mean to "snake" that dress from you! I saw it and I had to get it! The price was right and the fact it was deadstock made me a goner. So long savings!

Thanks for the compliment! I will treasure it and wear it well! However, I think a wiggle style would look smashing on you!
