The husband and I!

This is me and the husband out last night. I did my hair in rolls and added two flower clips on the back of each roll. The husband wore one of his suits (it was a work day so he was already dressed appropriately). I was wearing a black and red Stop Staring dress with a beaded cardigan.

When I got home the gym yesterday afternoon, I planned on making dinner at home. But as the husband was leaving his client's site around 6 pm, he called me and suggested an impromtu evening out. He simply wanted to treat me! It is times like this that remind me what a wonderful man I have! I have been with him since I was 19 and married to him since I was 21! Next year, we will celebrate our 15 year anniversary! I am truly a lucky gal!

  1. aaaww...the Imaginary Husband and I just had 15 years yesterday. I brought my camera but we were just too happy yacking away at dinner to snap some. We went to eat at the restaurant we ate dinner at on our wedding night (we had a day wedding). Doesn't time fly?

  2. Kim,

Congrats on your big 15th! I still cannot believe I have been with him for 16 years total and next year will be our big 15! Where did the time go? I just feels like yesterday that I was a new bride burning the chicken dinner and overcooking the brownies!

I hope your evening out was lovely! That is great that you went back to your wedding night spot! We got married in the afternoon and our reception ended around 9 pm. By the time we got to the hotel, we were starving! We ordered room service. However, I remember the food was great. The only yucky thing about our night was how we had to be in bed early because our flight to Jamaica took off at 7 am! That meant we had to be up around 4 am and at the airport by 5 am. Oh well! We got to travel first class and had a lovely breakfast with mimosas. I napped after our connection left Miami and by the time we arrived in Montego Bay, I was ready for beach time!

  8. Atomic Mama,

Thanks for the compliments! The cardigan was a Christmas gift from my mom this past season. It is a cotton blend and it fits so well. It is not cropped but it hits the waist instead of the hip like most modern cardigans. I think my mom found it at Macy's. I also agree that there is no such thing as "too many cardigans, purses, and shoes!" They are all such staple items!

As for doing something fabulous for our anniversary, I want to go back to Hawaii. We went there for two weeks for our 10 year and it was awesome!
